Fort Worth, TX – November 15, 2024 – Robinson Helicopter Company (RHC), the world’s leading manufacturer of civil helicopters, will exhibit at the National Agricultural Aviation Association’s (NAAA) 2024 Ag Aviation Expo in Fort Worth, Texas from November 19-20, 2024. This marks the company’s inaugural participation at the premiere trade show for agricultural aviation.
Attendees can visit booth #1541 to connect with Robinson Helicopter and its operators at Hexagon Helicopters and Higgins Leasing, who will have an R66 on display. Robinson Helicopter staff will be on hand to discuss the unique advantages of using single-engine light helicopters for agricultural applications. Robinson helicopters are best known for their affordability and maneuverability, allowing for precise application and cost efficiency.
“Our helicopters are workhorses in the ag-spray business. The R44 and R66 are not only reliable and easy to maintain, but they can operate at lower altitudes, increasing application accuracy and reducing drift,” said David Smith, President and CEO of Robinson Helicopter Company. “Our lightly loaded rotor system helps to minimize crop damage caused by other rotorcraft and low-flying fixed-wing aircraft.”
Additionally, Rotor Technologies will display its new R550 Sprayhawk. Built on Robinson’s proven R44 helicopter, the Sprayhawk is a remote-piloted agricultural spraying helicopter that can reduce operational risks and improve fleet and pilot utilization.
“Crewed or uncrewed, Robinson Helicopter offers a cost-effective workhorse for tough agriculture work and supports their approach to autonomy,” said Smith.
