Job Description

Position involves installation design for avionics and electrical equipment.  Duties include creating installation drawings, verifying installation meets manufacturer and FAA requirements (equipment mounting, wire routing, etc.).  This is a manufacturing-oriented position.  Theoretical and/or highly specialized work including original circuit design will be limited to that directly necessary for production and product development.

Job Qualifications

College level or equivalent background in electrical engineering. B.S. or M.S. preferred.  Familiarity with automotive-style DC electrical systems beneficial.

MECHANICAL/AEROSPACE ENGINEER

Job Description

Duties include preparation of engineering drawing using both traditional drafting and CAD, preparation of technical reports, and assembly and operation of various bench tests.  Robinson engineering positions are geared to well rounded  “hands-on” engineers.  Theoretical and /or highly specialized work is limited to that necessary for production and product development.

Job Qualifications

College level or equivalent background in aerodynamics, structural analysis, vibrations, conceptual and detail design. B.S. or M.S in mechanical or aerospace engineering preferred.  Any familiarity with reciprocating or turbine engines, sheet metal design or manufacturing are pluses.  Interest in and enthusiasm for general aviation also a plus.

TECHNICAL ILLUSTRATOR

Position involves preparation of 3-D artwork for various technical manuals and publications.  Strong freehand drawing skills a must.  Must be able to read blueprints.  Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator preferred. Turbocad, Solidworks, and/or other 3-D modeling program skills a plus.

2-5 years experience
